ENG:Created using the anthotype technique, this piece reveals four distinct shades of algae, imprinted on recycled paper as silent traces of a fragile ecosystem. The pigments, extracted from oceanic algae gathered along the Atlantic coast, were transformed into a light-sensitive substance— a living emulsion that, through exposure to sunlight and water, fixed the true color of the algae onto the paper. Each hue — soft, deep, sea-green, or earthy — tells a story of presence, origin, and time. In this gesture, the algae are not merely represented; they become part of the work itself, leaving their form and essence as a vegetal imprint of light.
