About the artist
Born in Atessa, Chieti, Italy on May 13, 1985, he grew up and studied in San Salvo (CH). He graduated in 2006 as a mechanical engineer. From an early age, he showed a particular aptitude for drawing, a passion that soon led him to discover airbrushing. He thus became acquainted with the works of great artists, especially the outstanding work of Alberto Ponno, until he became his student. This marked the beginning of his artistic journey in the world of airbrushing and photorealism. In 2016, Verino was mentioned in the national reference manual for the sector: "AEROGRAFO 2.0" by Mario Romani. Over the years, he has perfected his skills; all his paintings are executed freehand, without the use of masks. His preferred support is aluminum or wood. He is engaged in ongoing artistic research, which has led him to experiment with airbrushing on textureless surfaces such as gesso board and Forex. In recent years, he has also combined airbrushing with the dry pastel technique. 2022 marked an important turning point in his artistic career, when he decided to return to the field as a full-time artist with new shades and interpretations.
