Affirmations of Existence: Sculptural Structures in the Age of the Anthropocene -sculptural composition by Dominika Blazek This work is part of my ongoing visual affirmations—sculptural meditations on existence shaped within the fractured landscape of the Anthropocene. Layered stone-like forms, both raw and contoured, emerge as silent witnesses to erosion, time, and transformation. Composed of modular fragments, this structure echoes the stratification of memory, body, and terrain. It reflects a posthuman condition where matter carries the imprint of both natural processes and human intervention. The voids and shadows act as internal architectures—spaces of presence, absence, and becoming. These sculptural echoes are not monuments, but living affirmations—temporary, eroded, and yet inscribed with intention. They invite the viewer to contemplate the fluid structure of being in a world shaped by ecological fragility, digital interference, and metaphysical inquiry.
