About the artwork
Délitage (Rééducation) 2017 and Sans titre (Rééducation) 2017 are silkscreen prints Ivana Adaime Makac did during her residency at Centre d’art le Bel ordinaire, Pau In a similar, or even stronger, fashion to Formes Noires, these works are traces of the Rééducation project: Sans titre is the print of a leaf half eaten by the silkworms, and Délitage is a print of a tulle mesh—in fact, a tool the artist “invented” to be able to clean the spaces in which the silkworms live in her studio. So in a way, both are part of the process of breeding and care Adaime Makac dedicates to the insects.
