The work is part of an ongoing series of imaginary creatures: a play on biology, evolution as well as dreams of space exploration and worlds beyond. Acrylic impasto on canvas board with visible structure, generally small in size but with a strong visual impact on the viewer. The painting is finished with water based varnish for long lasting protection and a beautiful gloss. The work comes without frame but the recommendation is an all white 5-6 cm frame with a depth of 3-4 cm to let the canvas ‘sink in’.
