Made on beauty masks that have been used, the embroidery in rayon thread interprets the motif of flowers. Beauty masks used as embroidery base have the advantage of being “standard”. They suit to all the type of face. Their “standard” form allows to remind the masks of the ancient theater, or the Kabuki masks that embody or symbolize the great powers/entities of the Nature of the Living and the Spectrum, but also emotions. Thus are summoned, in this series, some heady plants and flowers, associated with some mythological figures… the air, the water, the fire, the earth, the transmutation and its mysteries, in an ambivalent transcription. The materials and embroidery supports are extremely delicate and fragile. They are certainly promised to disappear but they are only more valuable.
