Giorgio Romegialli known as GA. was born in 1972 in Morbegno (SO) IT, freelance engineer, passionate about art in all its forms. Self-taught, he approaches the world of sculpture in 2008 thanks to his love for Modigliani and Brâncuși whom he adopts the essential stylization of forms, since the sculpture represents a continuous search for the essential plastic solution, through a progressive stylization and simplification of the forms. His work reflects the thought of an ideal introspective image of the human soul. His technique merges into a synthesis of features and volumes ranging between primitive and classical art, with particular attention to the modulation of light, that delicately emerges from the smooth surfaces of his sculptures, finding life in folds and hollows. It is through these luminous nuances that his works take shape, extracting the emotions and feelings of the stone.
